Science on Wheels

This week, the Pacific Science Center’s Science on Wheels program brought two science educators to Garrison and Pioneer for a day-long science program with the 7th graders. Students enjoyed an assembly about the different types of engineers (electrical, civil, environmental, etc.) and then, during their science class, took part in hands-on activities related to civil and electrical engineering topics.

The program was part of a partnership between the Pacific Science Center and the Walla Walla Public Schools Foundation, with many thanks to the Pacific Power Foundation for funding STEM educational programs like these. Huge thanks also to the teachers and administrators who coordinated the day!
