The Walla Walla High School Boys and Girls Basketball Program is teaming with the newly formed Walla Walla Basketball Club (Walla2Hoops) to offer 3-on-3 Skill Development Clinics this summer for boys and girls in grades 4-8.
Walla Walla High School coaches and players will partner with Stephen Garnett of Overtime Training (OTT) to lead these free sessions open to youth throughout the Walla Walla valley. Students will learn basketball fundamentals, including ball handling, shooting and passing techniques. Participants will also learn strategies for success in 3-on-3 tournaments. This is an excellent opportunity to tune-up and get ready for Peach Basket.
“These clinics are a great way for our new AAU basketball club to get exposure and allow our youngest basketball players to be around their Blue Devil heroes,” said Matt Price-Huntington, president of the Walla Walla Basketball Club. “We are developing a scope and sequence for every grade level and this summer program is an opportunity to begin the process of getting our players ready for competition.”
