FFA Celebrates Year of Success

Future Farmers of America members and guests gathered to celebrate their year of success Wednesday during the FFA End of Year Ceremony. Students were recognized for their achievements in the classroom and outside the school setting.

This year the Walla Walla FFA Chapter had 34 Greenhand Degree recipients. These students participated in more events to benefit the community, traveled around Washington state and some attended Nationals in Indianapolis. The new officer team for the 2018-2019 school year was elected: Mila Flowers, Historian; Daniel Girardin, Sentinel; Mackenzie Davis, Reporter; Skyler Bettencourt, Treasurer; Kinsey Nelson, Secretary; Alyssa Drader, Vice President; and Hannah Pettyjohn, President. 

“The FFA Chapter has left a huge impact on my life and I hope I was able to help create an impact for the new officers that were elected for the 2018-2019 school year,” said Naddile Widner, 2017-2018 FFA President.
