Blue Devils volleyball and swimmers state bound

In only her 2nd year as head coach, Tracy Rotert’s team has qualified for the final round of 16 at the WIAA state volleyball tournament! The Blue Devils qualified by beating Gonzaga Prep 3-1 to earn the 3rd seed from the regional playoffs. The state volleyball tournament starts Friday, November 10. The Blue Devils will take the court at 1:30 p.m. in the Toyota Center.

Wa-Hi Girls Swim ON-TO-STATE as well….
The Blue Devil Girls swim team qualified for the following events. Blue Devil swimmers will compete November 10 and 11 at the King Co. Aquatic Center in Federal Way.

Qualifiers for the individual events are:
1- Laurel Skorina 200 Freestyle
2- Paige Gardner 50 Freestyle
3- Hally Ruff 50 Freestyle
4- Paige Gardner 100 Freestyle
5- Hally Ruff 100 Freestyle
6- Laurel Skorina 500 Freestyle
7- Kyra Hartley 100 Backstroke
8- Hannah Gardner 100 Breaststroke

Qualifiers for the swim relay events are:
1- 200 Medley Relay = Kyra Hartley, Hannah Gardner, Hannah Gordon, and Hally Ruff
2- 200 Freestyle = Laurel Skorina, Hannah Gardner, Hannah Gordan, and Paige Gardner
3- 400 Freestyle = Laurel Skorina, Hally Ruff, Kyra Hartley and Paige Gardner
