Bergevin donates corn to district schools

Walla Walla Public Schools hosted Taste Washington Day Wednesday, October 4 at district schools. This event introduces students to locally grown fruits and vegetables. This year school cafeterias featured sweet corn, peaches, plums, cherry tomatoes, and pears. This helps students connect with farm to table, according to Nutrition Services Director Pamela Milleson. Special thanks to local farmer and parent Robert Bergevin for donating two bins of corn for each school for parents to take home and enjoy with their families.
