Camp Invention inspires young scientists

This week nearly 90 elementary students from across the district are participating in Camp Invention at Berney Elementary School. Five amazing teachers and Walla Walla High School students serving as Camp Interns are leading a variety of exciting, hands-on science lessons.

Parent Joy Bader and guest teacher Andrea Cyrus are serving as co-directors. This is the first year Walla Walla Public Schools is offering Camp Invention. Thanks to Berney Principal Michelle Carpenter for supporting the program and opening the building for this amazing experience for Walla Walla youth. Learn more about Camp Invention by clicking HERE.
