Spring time is here! School Zone Safety reminder to motorists

More children are walking and riding their bikes to school as the weather continues to improve this spring. Motorists are reminded to use caution and keep speeds to 20 mph before school, during lunch and after school. Distracted driving continues to be a concern in school zones. Please do not talk on cell phones or text while driving. Thanks to the City of Walla Walla Police Department for continuing to partner with the district to provide an additional law enforcement presence in school zones. School safety remains a top priority for Walla Walla Public Schools. Your support and attention to school zone safety is greatly appreciated.
