New handicap pullout and ramp at Berney

Walla Walla Public Schools and the City of Walla Walla partnered to create a handicap pullout area and wheelchair ramp at Berney Elementary School. The school's parent drop-off and pick-up area didn't feature a handicap accessible zone making it difficult for adults and students with disabilities to get on and off campus. This project created a safe area in front of the school for those needing handicap access. The City of Walla Walla and Walla Walla Public Schools pooled resources to complete this important project.
