Governor Inslee praises 21st Century Program

State Superintendent Randy Dorn, Governor Jay Inslee, and a handful of legislators were on site in Olympia last week as 21CCLC Project director Brent Cummings and his staff, along with 12 high school sophomores launched weather balloons between the Legislative Building and the Temple of Justice.

Each day Gov. Inslee recognizes the most inspiring person he meets by removing his lapel pin and and pinning on the extraordinary person. On this day, he pinned it on Cummings for his work with Walla Walla youth.

After the launch, Sen. Mike Hewitt offered a resolution commending the students for their work and achievement.
