Dr. Jordan to speak during Chamber luncheon

Walla Walla Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Bill Jordan will be a panelist during the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce Quarterly luncheon Wednesday, Oct. 29. The topic of the discussion is "Education and its Role in a Community's Economic Development Strategy.”

Jordan will discuss the role for K-12 education in local economic development and business climate. He will also address the new Common Core standards, state assessments and programs which expose students to the business world.
