Wireless investment links students to digital world

Infrastructure project supports student learning
This summer the district is taking a huge leap forward in the race to keep up with technology advancements through an update to wireless infrastructure systems at all schools. Currently Green Park, Sharpstein, Berney and Lincoln have no or limited wireless access. Other district schools also struggle in the wireless arena and will see significant advancements.

This school year, Technology Director Forrest Baker and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Linda Boggs have teamed to begin forming a 1-to-1 initiative which will put more personal electronic devices in the hands of students to enhance learning. Look for more details on this initiative next school year. The wireless project investment was $350,000.
