Police dog visits Garrison Middle School
City of Walla Walla Police Officer Gunner Fulmer brought his police dog Rev to Garrison Middle School Thursday to educate students on his canine duties. Fulmer planted drugs in a backpack to demonstrate Rev’s drug sniffing skills to the students. Rev is a nine-year-old German Shepherd. Fulmer says most people don’t have a complete understanding of what a K-9 dog does for the police department. He said he likes to bring Rev to schools and build a positive relationship with students.
