Garrison students bond during Mix it Up event

Garrison Middle School students participated in the school’s first Mix It Up Day.  Students and staff were asked to wear a crazy combination of clothes and also to participate at lunch by taking a colored gum ball and joining the table that matched the color their mouths turned.  

At the tables, there was butcher paper with several random questions. Students sat at the table with people they might not usually sit with during lunch. They answered questions and were able to get to know each other.  Students Macy Quinn-Sears, Hannah Gardner, Paige Gardner, Kayla Pitzer, Sage Luxton and Mikaela Forcum helped Counselor Angie Gardea organize the event.
