School bus cameras support anti-bullying program

Transportation Director Steve Olson shows off the cameras district school buses are equipped with to help monitor behavior and curb bullying. Buses have cameras in the front of the bus and well as in the rear section.

Olson said the system also features audio microphones to record what is being said. He says the cameras are an excellent tool in the district’s ongoing program to ensure appropriate behavior. Olson says the cameras and audio systems help take the guess work out of what is actually happening on the school buses.
