Latino Club shines at Fair

The Walla Walla High School Latino Club was heavily involved in this year’s Walla Walla County Fair and Frontier Days. The two Saturdays and the evenings before the fair were work days for the club. Forty-seven Latino Club members and adults spent more than 290 hours preparing the grounds for the fair. They cleaned the pavilion, pulled weeds and hauled unused items.

The Latino Club earned 1st place in the Youth Float category for their parade entry. The Wa-Hi Latino Club passed out more than 1700 American flags along the parade route.
