Romaine lettuce pulled from school kitchens following CDC recommendation

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla Public Schools is disposing all romaine lettuce from its school kitchens following a national recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as it investigates an outbreak of E. coli infections linked to romaine.

No cases of E. coli have been reported in Walla Walla Public Schools. School kitchens will not be serving romaine lettuce or salad mix until further notice as a precaution.
