Football Jamboree at Wa-Hi Friday

The Walla Walla High School football program is hosting Lewiston, Pasco and Mac-Hi in the school’s first-ever Jamboree Friday at 10 a.m. at Walla Walla High School.

The teams will compete for two hours in a round robin format and each team will play each other. The event concludes at noon when community members may meet coaches and players and children can get autographs. They will not keep score, but there will be a Varsity Division and a "C/JV" division for 9-10th graders to play in.  The Blue Mountain Officials Association will participate to create a game-like setting for the players and coaches.

“We are excited to bring spring football to the Walla Walla Valley and to be able to play quality programs,” said Varsity Head Coach Eric Hisaw. “We've had a fantastic spring football camp and are looking forward for all our kids to be able to play, improve and show people what they have been working on.  This will give us a great opportunity to see what we need to continue to improve on, as we implement our new "Air Raid" offense and add new wrinkles to our attacking defensive system.”
