Garrison sidewalk grant

Grant to fund sidewalk improvements near Garrison Middle School
The City of Walla Walla is planning to improve sidewalks on Chase Avenue between Orchard Street and Chestnut Street and Morton Street from Chase Ave. to Fourth Ave thanks to a $30,000 Community Development Block grant. Construction will begin in June and be completed in August. The project will construct new sidewalks and install ADA compliant curb ramps to improve pedestrian accessibility. The project will also include storm water collection upgrades.
