Crime scene near Edison not a threat
Today the district office was informed that police are investigating a crime scene on the corner of Alder and Wilbur. The investigation involves a past crime. We have spoken directly with the police. They assure us that the situation is under police control and does not pose a threat of any kind to our students.
The area is cordoned off with yellow police tape. Some Edison students may walk home past this area. In an effort to help them feel safe under unusual circumstances, Principal Dr. Jennifer Cowgill will stand at the corner of Alder and Wilbur today so that they see a familiar face.
