Student travel survey

District schools to participate in state student travel survey
Blue Ridge, Edison, Pioneer and Prospect Point have been selected by the state Department of Health to participate in the 2016 Student Travel Survey. Department of Health staff will be randomly calling parents in May to complete the survey. Parents will be asked how their children get to and from school. Information will be sent home with students and be available on school websites explaining the survey and how the information will be used. Parents are encouraged to participate. The 2016 student travel survey is collaborative work by WA State Dept. of Health, Dept. of Transportation and OSPI. The survey provides necessary data needed to continue multiple programs, such as the Safe Routes to School and bike safety with bicycles provided to schools.
