Blue Ridge partners with YMCA for K-2 afterschool program
The YMCA is offering a free K-2 afterschool program at Blue Ridge Elementary beginning Monday, April 14. The YMCA will utilize the Blue Ridge facility for this program. Activities will include crafts, board games, reading time, music, field trips to the YMCA, group games, and team games. YMCA staff will also be working with the children on healthy lifestyles and YMCA core values; caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. This program is funded through a state subsidy program.
