2013 Summer Programs

Blue Ridge
Target 4th graders’ academic skills in Math, Reading, Spelling and Writing
Dates: June 17-20 and 24-26: August 5-8, 12-15, 21-22, 26-29

Edison
Target 1st graders in Reading, providing both Spanish and English interventions, 2nd graders in Math, and Vocabulary and possibly 3rd graders using a GLAD literacy component
Dates: August 5-22, Monday through Thursday.

Prospect Point
Offering Read Naturally (AR) Summer Lab for students
Dates: June 17 – August 2, (with the exception of the week of July 1st – 5th), Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 2 hours each day

Sharpstein
Offering two sessions of Reading and Math for incoming 3rd – 5th grade students
Dates: June 11-28; August 6-23, Monday through Thursday from 10:45–1:40.

Garrison Middle School
Leadership Camp – June 17-20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Hawk Point Ropes Course – June 21; Art Camp – June 24-28
Healthy Living Camp – July 8-12
Incoming 8th Graders’ Jumpstart – August 19-23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pioneer Middle School
Incoming 8th graders: Math Boot Camp – August 12-15, 19-22
Leadership Camp – June 17-20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Hawk Point Ropes Course – June 21

Lincoln High School
Credit Retrieval options June 17 – July 5, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All students in need of credit will be invited to attend.

Walla Walla High School
Credit Retrieval options for seniors, juniors, sophomores, respectively. Dates: June 17-July 25, Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Four Gear Up options also available:

Hawk Point Ropes Course – June 21 for incoming 9th graders

Algebra Readiness (.5 Credit & possible test out of Algebra Support Class)
Dates: June 17-July 11, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon

AP Summer Academy - Date TBD & target students TBD
