Diversity Committee leaders meet with area business owner
This week Superintendent Mick Miller, Diversity Committee Chair Sergio Hernandez and Communications Director Mark Higgins met with Manuel Escalante of Chon Insulation and Drywall as part of a new outreach initiative. Escalante has operated the business in Walla Walla for nearly 20 years.

He is active in the valley’s youth soccer program and has children in the Walla Walla Public Schools. The Diversity Committee improve communication with parents, students and community members and build relationships for enhanced partnerships.
