Lincoln High School and Transportation take first at Macy’s Parade of Lights
Congratulations to Lincoln High School and the Transportation Department for their successful entries in the Macy’s Parade of Lights. Both entries earned first place honors for their categories. The Transportation entry featured a lighted school bus.

The Lincoln High School parade float was designed by the ASB class as a tribute to Charlie Brown. The students worked on the project for about three weeks in class, making all the heads for the characters. Lori Finn is the ASB advisor. Teacher Terry Olson's stage production class made the dog house, Snoopy and Woodstock.

Students who helped: Eternity Biegel (Peppermint Patty), Esli Espinoza (Marci), Doreen Aguayo (Lucy), Aron Wulf Martin (Schroeder), Samuel Marquez (Charlie Brown), Ambir Paul (Sally), Donavin Hull (Pigpen), Jose Luis Lara (Linus), Precelia Clay, Jasmine Gonzalez, Yvonne Miranda, Ashley Vinup, Kelsey Cobb.

Staff who helped: Lori Finn, Jayne Eacker, Terry Olson, Jesse Briones, Erik Gordon, Patrick Kofler, Maggie Yount, Jim Sporleder (driver), and Linda Barker.

“It has become a tradition at Lincoln to have as many staff and students walk in the parade along with the float,” said Lori Finn. “We started participating 4 years ago and have won "Best High School Float" each year.”
